They wrote back

Since 2002, our delegates have sat in front of thousands of students, in classrooms and lecture halls across the world. Sometimes, the students wrote back.

Dear Yossi, Sean, and Hadar,

Thank you very much for taking time out of your life to come and speak to our middle school. I really learned a lot about the situations in Israel. These days, I have been too scared to want to visit Israel, but after hearing that there is a lot of security, and how fun and exciting it is, I would really enjoy going.

From your speeches, I learned that Israel is much like America. I also learned that every Jew is a very different person. I really hope that everything in Israel will change and everyone can get along.

I really enjoyed your visit and learning everything that you had to show. I hope you enjoyed America, and that you will come back and visit!

Dear Sean, Yossi, Hadar,

Thank you for finding time to come and talk to us about the situation in your homeland, Israel. You have made my mind, and probably my classmates' minds, more at ease to know that the situation in Israel is not actually what it's blown up to be here in the States.

Because of the discussion that we had that day, hopefully more of us are looking forward to going to Israel than not wanting to. Once again, thank you for coming. It really meant a lot to all of us.
